The mobile city guide is a context aware application that is developed by three different partners as an interdisciplinary context aware case study. It is based on a real demand of two belgium cities to enhance the visitor experience. The mobile city guide is running on mobile devices and presents information about points of interest in the vicinity of the person carrying the device. To increase interactivity, this information is displayed when the user is approaching one of these points of interest. The presented information can be of various kinds: pictures, text, video, sound, ...
